Prices & Information
In every aspect of my business, I try to provide the best quality product for my clients. This includes top-notch professionalism, technical knowledge and affordable products.
Photography is art. I’m not just a girl with a camera, I’m a professional photographer who has dedicated time to learning key concepts in exposure, composition, posing, lighting and other technical and artistic components of this medium. An award-winning photojournalist, documentary-style weddings and candid portraits are my specialty and I infuse these styles with classic, formal portraits during our session. I don’t photograph snapshots, I photograph you the way you want to be remembered.
When you book a session and purchase prints, you are not paying for a hobbyist who produces discount store prints; you are paying for a professional photographer and high-quality products. You are paying for time, expertise and artistry. As the Richters have put it, “A pair of scissors costs $1.50 at the drugstore. Still, most people will gladly pay a lot more to hire a professional hair dresser to cut their hair. The added attention and quality that a personal photographer gives is worth every penny.”
Or, as photographer Erin Farrell has so eloquently put it, it’s not the tools, it’s the person using those tools which makes a difference. (Her blog post “Your Camera Takes Really Nice Pictures” is a great read!)
That said, when pricing my time and products, I have taken local demographics and economic factors into consideration. I want to offer you a great product priced so you can afford to buy as many prints as you’d like.
